Exceptions to the normal form in a consultation
At the beginning of the 9th fate (from year 2017 to 2043), one of our members asked me to help him with the Feng Shui of his house as things had been quite difficult for him over the past years.
When visiting his house, there were various things that caught my attention:
- There was a “T-junction” sha chi hitting the facing from the main street.
- The back of the house had a few steps that made the back garden lower than the front of the property.
- As it was so easy to park in the street at the back of the house, he mainly used his kitchen door and very rarely used the front door.
- The kitchen door was facing the Northeast.
When we measured the site, it was in the 4/2 kwa, making the facing 4/8. 4-fate kwas used to be zero fate kwas during the 8th fate, so this could explain why things had been such a struggle for him in the past.
Luckily now during the 9th fate, a 4 fate kwa is ok as it is the shadow of 9. So this zero fate kwa was no longer a problem.
But the 2 star was in the Site and the 8 star was in the Facing, which is normally considered to be the wrong way around.
Again, he was lucky because in this particular case as the form of the land was lower in the back of the house, this active/weak star 2 fitted in perfectly with the lower land and the facing star 8 matched the higher land of the plot too.
This property had the potential of becoming a "Site Empty Facing Full" ("SEFF") house.
To do this we needed to make better use of the back of the house.
To turn his luck around, we changed the angle of the back door to 1/3 to make it active.
As the site was facing the cold Northeast, he painted the door a bright red colour.
Another recommendation was to keep his front hedge high to block the sha chi from the T-Junction. This also served a double function as his property had a high kwa at the facing so it was appropriate to keep the hedge high too.
With these solutions, we turned his property into a Site Empty Facing Full, with the kwas in the correct positions, a door that was active to feed the property correctly and at the same time blocked the sha chi.
Within no time, things started to get better for him.
And I ask, what other style of Feng Shui can recognise a SEFF property and know how to turn it?
